Data Protection Notice

This is a courtesy translation. Katisan Basketbol operates under Turkish law, and the Turkish version of this text is the legally binding one. Where the two differ, the Turkish text prevails.

This notice is issued under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “KVKK”) and explains how the personal data you submit through basketbolsahasi.com.tr is processed.

2. What we collect

When you complete the quotation form on this site, the following data is recorded:

  • Full name or organisation name — so that we can address you correctly and know who the quotation is for
  • Telephone number — so that we can call you to arrange the site survey
  • E-mail address — so that we can send you the written quotation (optional)
  • Province / district — for survey planning and to calculate the location cost
  • Project note — the court size, ground condition and similar details you describe in your request
  • Calculator summary — the selections you made in the cost calculator, if any
  • IP address — solely to prevent abuse and automated form submissions

Nothing else is collected. This site carries no analytics software, advertising script or social media tracker.

3. Why we process it

  • To assess your quotation request and respond to you
  • To schedule a site survey
  • To prepare and send a written quotation
  • To carry on the subsequent correspondence about your request
  • To prevent the form being abused by automated tools (IP address only)

Your data is not added to a marketing list, and you will not receive promotional messages unrelated to your request.

4. Legal basis

Your personal data is processed on the basis of the explicit consent you give when submitting the form (KVKK Art. 5/1). If your request leads to a contract, the data necessary to conclude and perform that contract continues to be processed under KVKK Art. 5/2-c.

5. Who we share it with

We do not share it with third parties. Your data is held in a database on our own server; it is not transferred to advertising networks, data brokers or marketing platforms.

There are only two exceptions:

  • Our hosting provider — it operates the server infrastructure and therefore has technical access to the data.
  • Legal obligation — data is disclosed where a court order or a lawful request from a competent public authority requires it (KVKK Art. 8/2-a).

6. How long we keep it

Quotation requests are retained for 3 years from the date the request is received. That period reflects the fact that quotations and negotiations may serve as evidence in any dispute that later arises. Records are deleted once the period expires.

If your request leads to a contract, the records relating to that contract are kept for the retention periods required by the Turkish Commercial Code and the Tax Procedure Law.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may apply to us to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • Request information about the processing, if it has taken place
  • Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly
  • Know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, to whom the data has been transferred
  • Request rectification if the data is incomplete or inaccurate
  • Request erasure or destruction of the data
  • Request that rectification, erasure or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
  • Object to a result reached to your detriment through analysis carried out solely by automated systems
  • Claim compensation for loss suffered as a result of unlawful processing

So that we can verify your identity, please state your full name and contact details, and set out your request clearly.

9. Data security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS, so form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. Records are viewed through an administration panel with restricted access. The form is protected against automated submissions.
